About Compassionate Communication (NVC)

Compassionate Communication, also known as Nonviolent Communication (NVC), offers a powerful framework that can support us in cultivating inner peace, mutual understanding and solutions that work for everyone. It offers us the principles, practices and processes that help us in staying connected to what matters most to us.

It can be applied in many areas - from the inner and interpersonal to work at the organisational and systemic level. It gives us the relational skills that support emotional regulation and personal development, conflict resolution and collaboration.

About Jem

I am a facilitator and CNVC Certified Trainer. I’ve been practicing Compassionate Communication/Nonviolent Communication for 10 years and became certified in 2022. I live on the West Coast of Ireland, raising my two young children. I practice Compassionate Communication daily in my parenting and partnership, centering my life around personal growth and healing. I’m dedicated to supporting others on their own journeys of transformation. I work online with individuals and couples, offering coaching and mediation, and I run workshops and retreats in the Spring and Autumn on the West Coast.
